This is a great way for those who speak Albanian but currently reside elsewhere in the world to get their hands on Albanian books. Anyone who is able to get online, whether it be at an internet café or using o2 Broadband in their home, will be able to benefit from using this service. We aim to keep people up to date on the latest Albanian releases, and offer a useful service for those interested in books. For book lovers who often find it difficult to find text written in Albanian, this is a great opportunity to stay up to date.
This is not the only such project on the Internet, however, it is quite unique as it provides you with many more facilities and a usability close to that of Amazon.com where customers can register, get notified for new books, create a wish list and many more things that will be added to the bookstore as the work goes on. So far we have sold the first two books, to a customer living in Britain, but with an U.S. address. And we have not even started to advertise yet.
Anyway, if you want to check it out, then visit “ShtepiaeLibrit.com – libra shqip” www.shtepiaelibrit.com For those of you who speak Albanian we are implementing also a Blog (www.shtepiaelibrit.com/blog) to go with the website where you can get updates about what’s going on with the website (new books, project progress, etc). You can also subscribe to the Blog and get updates that way.
By the way I would love to get your feedback on this project as it is quite important for me and the other partner in business. We think that we have a pretty good project in hand and that it could go quite well, and your feedback would definitively allows us to achieve our goals.

Si kerkohet per autore shqiptare vetem? Ndoshta duhet ta shtosh si kategori me vehte.
Personalisht nuk shikoj aspak llogjike qe ti marketosh Hemingway-in e perkthyer ne shqip dikujt qe jeton pertej oqeanit…
Shendet,
ITS, e vleresoj komentin tend.
ShtepiaeLibrit/Blog
Gjithe te mirat,
Elvisi
Urime per kete projekt qe keni marre persiper.

I’m looking for a copy of Viktima te Kuzhines by Williemien de Villiers
Hello Anne,
for the moment I know that we don’t have that book but we could try to find it for you. How important is it for you?
Hello webmaster I like your post “n Online Bookstore – ShtepiaeLibrit.com | Albanian Blogger” so well that I like to ask you whether I should translate into German and linking back. Greetings Engel
All you care are the money! Sell sell sell – money money money. There are lots of ebook for free in english, italian, german, spanish ect. but none in albanian. You are roten for money…
Dear Krrakrra,
thanks for your comment. It’s a bit offensive, but if I may, I just want to answer to you by saying that if I talk a lot about the Albanian Online bookstore, is because I truly care about what I do with it. And I’ve learned to care even more because I have realized that it is a service that is worth to the people who visit us and want to maintain their love for books. So if I may correct you, it is not all about selling, selling, selling – money, money, money, but rather it is all about books books books and my true relationship with them.
Moreover, where can you find a better job than working with something that you love 🙂
I have been trying to figure out how to get Albanian books (or just books translated in Albanian) in the US, where I live, but haven’t had any luck yet. I just came across your website, and I have a few shipping questions. Where do these books ship from? What is standard shipping to the US? Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you.
Juliana
Hi there Julia,
thanks for the inquiry. The Albanian House of Books Bookstore has been in operation for 4 years now and almost every week we ship to the USA or Canada. Currently, we’re the largest online Albanian bookstore and all our books are shipped through Albania. The books are published here and we ship them from here.
With regard to shipping costs, they are easily calculatable since once you add them to you shopping cart, you can then change the Country and thus calculate the rates directly from the website.
I am sorry I am not being more specific, but it all depends on the weight of the books themselves. We do suggest you use the Economy Shipping rates as they are currently the lowest available from Albania.
Let us know if we can assist you further.
Kind regards,
Elvis Plaku & Gjergj Erebara
