It was September 2004. Tirana was buzzing with its usual chaotic energy, and there I was, hunched over a clunky computer, typing out my very first blog post on ePlaku.blogspot.com. "First post in blog," I wrote, feeling like a digital pioneer in the Albanian blogosphere.

Little did I know that clicking "Publish" on that first post would kickstart a two-decade journey. ePlaku.blogspot.com became my digital home, a place where I could share my thoughts, rants, and musings about life in Albania.
Just a day later, on September 7, 2004, I penned "Back in Albania idea." Re-reading it now, I can't help but smile at my younger self's enthusiasm: "I am thinking of starting a blog about my return to Albania... I hope I can keep it up to date and make it interesting." Well, younger me, you certainly managed to keep it up!
From Blogspot Albania to a Thriving Community
As ePlaku grew, so did the Albanian blogging community. Terms like "blogspot albania," "albania blogspot.com," and "albanian blogspot" became our rallying cries. We were a motley crew of digital scribes, each carving out our own niche in the vast internet landscape.
Remember the excitement of discovering another "alb blogspot" or "albania blogspot com"? It felt like finding a kindred spirit in the vast digital wilderness. We'd comment on each other's posts, share stories, and sometimes engage in friendly debates about everything from politics to the best byrek in Tirana.

Over the years, my little corner of the internet evolved. From simple musings on ePlaku.blogspot.com, I started delving into deeper themes, reflecting on Albanian life, culture, and our rapidly changing society. My blog became a window for the world to peek into Albania, beyond the usual tourist snapshots.

As Albania changed, so did the internet landscape. The decision to move from my beloved "albania blogspot com" to WordPress wasn't easy. ePlaku had been my digital home for so long! But like our country, I needed to adapt and grow.
