Back After 10 Days of Server Failure

It has been 10 days now since the server that hosts my Blog “failed due to a severe hard drive failure at approximately 7:30am” on 17 December 2007. Needless to say that the whole thing was frustrating to say the least, as all my websites are hosted on that server and this time of the year is quite important to have things working in order to keep up with demand.

Anyway, now everything is back to normal, least for most of my websites, including this Blog. Moreover, to my surprise, I did not realize that the Blog was back online till this morning when I saw that two people had left their comments on a couple of my previous posts: here and here.

That was quite nice and I would like to say that it is good to be back.

Also, I need to add that I have been hosing my websites since 2002 and have never had such problems, but I guess there is always a first time for everything. All I can say now is, let’s hope that it won’t happen again.

In closing, I know it’s a little late, but I did not want to miss the opportunity to thank each and every one of the readers of this Blog and to wish you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
