Dropbox, is a service that lets you back up files, share them with others, and sync them with other PCs. I have been using Dropbox for close to one year now and so far I like it very much. It allow you to create a folder in your computer to store your files, which can then be synchronized online thus your files always stay up-to-date both online and on your computer.
Mostly, I use it for my school study materials, so that they are available everywhere I go, through the internet, and all the changes that I make can then be updated automatically when I login to my personal computer at home. I also keep a copy of my CV, which can come in handy if you need to update it from time to time.

Good idea – installed now. I like Google’s documents too but this is more practical for stuff that’s just for me.

thanks for installing it. I got the notice as well from Dropbox that you had joined.
I have tried several times to use Google Docs for collaboration purposes, but I don’t like it very much because you loose a lot of the formatting options and features that you get when you have the whole Word Document. Anyway, I hope that it will truly comes in handy as it has for me.
